Next, choose a username and password, and enter your email. Final step is to click the link in a verification email, and you are done.

There are a few ways to match with people. First, you can play the Badoo game, which functions a lot like Tinder. You’re shown pictures of people and can click on a heart to like someone, or X to decline. You can filter by age and gender as well.

You can also use Local Searches to search for people in a geographic area. You can filter by age, gender, what they’re looking for, location, and distance. You can send up to two messages to people you haven’t matched with. After two messages the person must reply before you can send more.

Badoo features a messaging platform that you can use to communicate with people. You can save people you really like and block people you don’t. Unlike some dating platforms, you can also send pictures through the messaging platform.

Generally speaking, the messaging platform works well. It’s also nice that you can message people you haven’t matched with. However, this might lead to some spamming and scamming if unscrupulous people message you.

Like many other dating sites, Badoo does feature ads, which can get annoying. Either way, Badoo offers good value and its free plan is surprisingly robust.
